Volleyball Scoreboard — sets, side swaps and set point, called for you
A rally-scoring volleyball board that knows the shape of a match: tap the points and it calls SET POINT, hands the set over at 25 (win by 2) with a horn and a SWAP SIDES cue, counts the sets toward best of 5, and plays the deciding 5th set to 15. It is a light rule aid, not a rules engine — you stay in charge of every rally. Free, fullscreen for the gym TV, saved in this browser, no account.

Since the switch to rally scoring, every serve is a point for somebody. A set goes to 25 points and must be won by two, so 24–24 rolls on to 26–24, 27–25 and beyond until someone opens the gap. A match is best of five sets, and if it reaches two sets all, the decider is shorter — first to 15, still win by two. Between sets, the teams change ends, so neither side keeps the good lighting, the low ceiling corner or the sun from the windows all match.
That is exactly the checklist this board carries so you don't have to. Pick the Volleyball preset (it is already on for this page), tap each rally to the team that won it, and the board does the remembering: a SET POINT banner when a team stands one rally from the set — including through deuce, where every go-ahead point at 24-24 is set point again — then the horn, the SET TO … — SWAP SIDES banner and a tick on the set counter when it lands. The points zero for the next set, the set scores are kept for the result, and one UNDO reopens a set closed by a mis-tap.
Made for PE classes and club nights, not the FIVB
Rotations, liberos and service order are the referee's craft; a wall-mounted scoreboard has no business guessing them. Teachers running four courts, coaches scrimmaging on a Tuesday, and tournament desks that just need the score big on a TV — that is who this is for. Turn on streaks and broadcast moments and the board also celebrates comebacks and lead changes; arm golden goal for a next-point-wins finisher when the bell is about to go.
Score it from your phone
Here is the trick no other free volleyball scoreboard has: put this page on the TV, switch the tile to GOGO app mode, and score the match from the free GOGO iPhone app courtside — tap Go Live in a match and enter the 6-character room code on the screen. Your phone becomes the remote with real volleyball rules (sets, rotations, per-player stats), and the big screen follows it live.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use it for beach volleyball?
The cues fire at 25; beach plays sets to 21 (best of 3, decider to 15). For beach, keep the preset on None and score manually, or score indoors rules — the win-by-2 logic is the same. A beach preset is on the list if enough people ask.
What happens after match point?
When a team takes a third set the board slams MATCH TO … with the set tally. Tap SHARE for a result card — final sets, the per-set scores and the team colors — ready for the group chat.
Does it save?
Yes — sets, scores and team names live in this browser and survive a closed tab. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account.
