Printable Scrabble Score Sheet

A clean score pad for up to four players: twenty turn rows with a running total beside every score, bingo bonus boxes, and the end-of-game rack adjustment rows that casual sheets always forget. Free, no ads, no signup.

How Scrabble scoring works

Scoring a turn. Add up the face value of every letter in the word you played, applying premium squares as you go: a double or triple letter square multiplies just that tile, a double or triple word square multiplies the whole word — after the letter premiums are applied. If your word crosses two word premiums, apply both (a double-double is ×4). Premium squares count only on the turn they're first covered; after that they're plain squares. Blanks score zero but still collect word multipliers for the letters around them.

Multiple words in one play. If your play forms more than one word — hooking an S onto BOARD while spelling SNAKE — score every new word formed, and a shared premium square counts in each of them. Write the single combined number in the score column and update the running total immediately: a sheet where the totals are always current settles arguments before they start.

The bingo. Play all seven tiles in one turn and you score a +50 bonus on top of the word score. Tick a bingo box when it happens — partly to check the arithmetic, mostly for bragging rights.

The endgame rack adjustment. When the game ends (a player uses their last tile with the bag empty, or all players pass twice), every player subtracts the face value of the tiles left on their own rack. If one player went out, they also add the combined value of everyone else's leftover tiles — which is why playing out first is often worth more than one last medium word. The sheet gives each adjustment its own row so the grand total is auditable.

Using the sheet: write names in the header, one row per turn — score in the left box, new running total in the right. A challenge that removes a word scores zero for that turn (write 0; the challenger's turn is unaffected under standard "double challenge" rules — agree your house rule first). Game night covering more than one game? There's a matching Yahtzee sheet and a whole score sheet collection to print alongside this one.

FINAL SCORE

Bingo bonuses are included in the turn's score — the tally row is a cross-check. Need more than 20 turns (rare beyond two players)? Print a second sheet and carry the totals over.
